—日本に来たのは何回目ですか？
—How many times have you been to Japan?
何回も来ています。正確には６回目です。東京や京都などへ行きました。
I’ve been here a number of times.It is exactly the 6th time. I went to Tokyo and Kyoto etc.
—関門エリアに来たのは何回目ですか？
—How many times have you visited the Kanmon area?
初めてです。福岡からJRで北九州に来ました。帰りは北九州空港からジンエアーで帰ります。
It’s my first time. I came to Kitakyushu from Fukuoka by JR Line. I will return home from Kitakyushu airport by Jin Air on the way back.
—なぜ関門エリアに来たいと思ったのですか？また、観光にあたっては何を参考にしましたか？
—Why did you want to come to the Kanmon area? And what did you refer to for sightseeing?
ジンエアーが就航したこともあって、韓国のWEBサイト｢NAVER｣などで北九州のことを調べました。門司港レトロがどんなところか気になったので訪れてみました。
As Jin Air has begun service recently, I did some research about Kitakyushu on Korean Website “NAVER”. I was curious about what Mojiko Retro is like, so I visited this time.
—このパネルの中で実際に食べてみたものや、食べてみたいものはありますか？
—Is there anything you actually ate or want to eat in this panel?
瓦そばや焼きカレーは食べてみたいです。牡蠣やもつ鍋は美味しいですよね。日本の食べ物では、豚丼や寿司が好きです。ちゃんらーとふぐ刺しは知らないです。お刺身は食べないです。
I want to eat Kawara soba and grilled curry.Oysters and Motsunabe are so delicious. As for Japanese food, I like pork bowl and sushi. I don’t know chanra or blowfish sashimi. I don’t eat sashimi.
—このパネルの中で実際に行ったことのあるところや、行ってみたいところはありますか？
—Are there any places you actually went or want to visit in this panel?
門司港レトロなうです（笑）鉄道博物館は気になりますね。行ってみたい。唐戸市場や関門人道トンネルはテレビで観たことがあります。
Mojiko Retro now (lol) I’m curious about Railway Museum. I want to check it out. I have seen Karato Marketplace and Kanmon Jindo Tunnel on TV.
—このエリアを旅して満足したポイントや、残念だったポイントはありますか？
—Are there any points that you felt satisfied, or dissatisfied while traveling this area?
北九州の街は海も山も街もあって良いですね。門司港レトロは良いところです。門司港駅が工事中だったのが残念でした。また来たいです。
The city of Kitakyushu is fantastic because you can enjoy sea, mountains and downtown. It was too bad that Mojiko station was under construction. I want to come back again.
